about the Birmingham Diocese

The Diocese of Birmingham is the network of Church of England churches and chaplaincies serving the people of Birmingham and the surrounding towns, suburbs and villages. Following the example of Jesus and strengthened by the Holy Spirit we seek to love God and serve our neighbour through our words, our worship and our work.

We offer a range of different courses and programmes for lay people throughout the year, many of which are made available in venues around the diocese.

Birmingham courses currently include the following: Mirror:
Bible and Life Reflections; 2D; 3D; Growing Gifts; Offering Worship; Learning for Discipleship (offered in partnership with the Queen's Foundation and the Methodist Church); and Working with Adults (offered in partnership with the
